About me:
About me:
I
stand 6'00" tall, fit, have dark blond hair, and blue eyes. In my spare
time, I love swimming and am on a swim club team, I am a gourmet amateur cook,
I enjoy ice skating, travelling, watching quality movies, listening to good
music, whether classical, Christian Contemporary Music, new wave, pop, et al.,
fine dining, and working out. My favourite colours are blue and
white and I like exotic imported fruit ice cream flavours. I do
not smoke, drink alcohol, nor have I ever done recreational drugs.
I am presently enrolled in a 1 1/2 year university doctoral
program in Christian theology and am working on my dissertation. I am working
towards becoming a professor of Christian theology, at a Christian liberal arts
or Bible college. In that vocation, my heartfelt calling, I am preparing to
teach Christian studies, such as theology, societal and church studies, and
church history. I live in a high rise condo with a breathtaking view in the
heart of downtown Toronto.
My professional academic involvements have included being a published author in
several encyclopedias, including a popular one of Christianity, having
presented a paper at Oxford University, UK, serving as editor of a student
newsletter as an executive in student government.
Single, Never Married, No Kids, but Looking:
A
question I receive often is, "What are you looking for in a partner?"
To that, I have always replied that above all, I have desired a woman of God,
who is walks uprightly before the Lord, who humbly grows in the character and
virtue of the Lord.
Seeking attributes of character and virtue moreover other things of secondary
importance; I want a SWCF who naturally who reflects many interests in common
with me, who is oriented towards serving the Lord in a manner that would enable
both her and me, as a unit, to serve dutifully in His kingdom.
Yet, my passion for the Lord motivates me always to strive to do more in His
kingdom, in a way that is befitting of one with an eternal perspective. I would
want a relationship that developed around a tighter spiritual bond that would
draw one another closer.
As I am seeking to be a professor/teacher in the Christian tradition, I would
desire someone who would be supportive and understanding of the unique needs of
that ministry. These things I would desire in her, with us believing that our
life together, yet not existing before, potentially as married, exists
naturally - as something that is wholesome, loving and godly, in all its ways.
I would be privileged to witness in her a heart that desires to pray, and be in
tune with the will of the Lord, as well as a desire to understand Him and His
ways through His Word.
I live in lower Ontario, Canada, and chiefly
am interested in women local
to the Greater Toronto Area, northern New York
(Niagara / Buffalo area) State, or Michigan
or those for
whom relocation is an option.

What is special to you about your relationship with God
What is special to you about your
relationship with God?
My testimony is something blessed indeed. I was baptized young and went to my
family's church. I was confirmed as a Protestant Lutheran and then fell away
for a time, later rededicating myself to Jesus, my Savior, Lord, and friend, in
high school - at a youth group. Attending a Christian liberal arts college in a
town near by, I continued to learn more about God, earnestly seeking His truth.
A momentous experience happened in my third year of college, after offering
prayers semester after semester. They were answered and I remember telling one
of my theology professors how my Christian understanding had become striking
real. I rejoiced, praising God that my knowledge of Him enabled me to articulate
His truth in a consistent and systematic way that could be practically
meaningful to my friends and colleagues. This helped confirm my calling to
become a professor. I then attended a theological seminary; it was an
Evangelical, Bible believing one, where I earned my first masters degree. I was
blessed to go there.
What are some of your personal goals in life?
I desire to be a godly husband, have a family, succeed in the ministry of
teaching where God places me, and make someone feel truly special forever.
Describe your personality and character traits.
My friends would describe me and say: He is someone who loves life; who has a
positive, contagious attitude about life and passion for living every moment to
the fullest. He knows exactly what he seeks from life - to be a professor of
Christian theology and academic administrator – a true gentleman and a scholar
- and is driven to do what it takes to succeed in so doing.
He values his relationship with his family and possesses a strong Christian
moral fibre. He's funny, deeply motivated, ambitious, and goal oriented, enjoys
going to church, desires to have a loving family, respects all people, and is
warm, gentle spirited, and easy going.”
What do you like to cook?
In my spare time, I enjoy gourmet cooking. Some of my recent dishes I
have made for myself included a Thai beef coconut curry dish, Mexican burritos,
guacamole dip, a spicy beef and bean chilli, Indian beef curried in Madras
spices, meatloaf with walnuts, parsley, sun dried tomatoes, bacon, onion, and
feta cheese, barbeque beef, wild rice, corn, and tomato stuffed assorted colour
peppers, stuffed eggplant with beef, cranberry stuffing, onions, tomatoes,
covered with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
Also, I’ve made gourmet cheeseburgers with fresh dill, tomato,
feta, olive, onion and dill salad, lasagne, leg of lamb, twice baked
potato skins with cheese, bacon, and chives, a corn dish, with salsa, sautéed
onions, fresh pepper, sun dried tomatoes, cayenne & chilli pepper, and baby
corn, a salad made with baby greens, red leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cured
olives, provolone cheese, spicy calabrese sausage, prosciutto, hard boiled egg,
and red peppers, other specialty salads; a breakfast with poached egg with
cheddar cheese, bacon, ketchup on buttermilk biscuits; bacon, strawberry,
banana and kiwi fruit salad, tots, garnished with avocado and my home grown
basil; lunch with tuna with mayonnaise, bread crumbs, and parmesan cheese,
flanked by turmeric cous cous with feta and olives, with tomato, parsley,
pepper, and red onion salad with balsamic rice wine vinaigrette, bacon, and
garnished by avocado and my home grown basil; baked Buffalo style boneless
chicken thighs with bread crumbs, with cayenne pepper, scallion, sun dried
tomato, wine, butter, and pepper sauce; sided by mixed green salad and carrot
fingers; with imported blue cheese dressing.
What do you “do”?
I am a full time doctoral student of Systematic Christian Theology at a large
research university, which requires of me to be here for approximately 1 ½ more
years. I am working towards becoming a professor of Christian theology, at a
Christian liberal arts university or Bible college. Although I have been in
higher education for many years, I am blessed in that I will not have financial
debt whatsoever to burden a future love.
In that vocation, my calling, I am preparing to teach Christian studies, such
as theology, societal and church studies, and church history. I also have
volunteered at a food bank, giving back to my community and providing food for
the poor and marginalized, have published seven articles in two separate
Encyclopedias and made other contributions, am active in student politics, and
am a member of various learned societies.
What would be the perfect setting for a first meeting
with a new friend or date?
An nice atmosphere to get to know one another would be over a meal / coffee. I
feel that the Christian couple knows that God has established limits; not out
of disdain, yet rather as a safeguard, to enable true love and develop the warm
bond of trusting respect.
When God is at the center of a relationship, all else subsides, as hearts
concentrate on seeking Him, drawing one another closer together. I’m looking
forward to something where God enables the relationship to grow, as a natural
outgrown of beautiful Christian love unto one another.
You say you are only looking for Christian females. Does
not your Great Spirit, Higher Power, Deity, god, or earth goddess teach you to
accept everybody?
Yes, He does, but this does not mean that I am to be disobedient to Him, who
called me to become one with another of the same faith, being equally yoked.
You say you are looking only for local females. Do you not
believe that God can have someone for you in any part of the world?
This implies that unless otherwise, it will take a sheer act of God to make my
significant other be geographically proximate enough to me to enjoy a game of
checkers or go out for coffee. Yes, I am only looking for local females. This
is not any indication of impiety or relative religiosity. If my future love is
on the other side of the world then God would provide the means for her to be
with me personally.

What is special to you about your relationship with God
Where did you go to school?
I have attended undergrad for my BA, Seminary for my MA, and recently finished
my second master's in theology. I am currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in
Christian theology with a large Canadian university.
What are some of your personal goals in life?
I desire to be a godly husband, have a family, love my children, and make
someone feel truly special forever, while serving God as a teacher of His
truth.
What can you say about your previous relationships?
I have had many close friends, of either gender, but look forward to having the
right one.
Where were you born? To where have you traveled?
I was born in the United State s and
have had traveled extensively to
practically every state therein. My most enjoyable travel was a missionary
experience to Thailand and Laos,
South East Asia, in the summer of 2000.
In April of 2006 I was in England, where I gave a presentation on a theological
paper at the University of Oxford.
While on my short two week excursion in Europe, I saw London and I saw France, taking a flight into the city of lights for a few
days. The Louvre museum, Eiffel Tower,
and the truly delectable food were some of my best memories of Paris.
I make several trips yearly to my father’s estate on the water in Florida.
I spent my winter 2002 in Miami, Florida, went on an 11
day cruise and
land excursion to Alaska in the Summer of
2004, vacationed to Jamaica,
Puerto Rico.
Views on Euthanasia
"Mercy killing" is a misnomer, it is a sin, which places the human in
the place of God, who alone can take life; thus, is murder.
Views on Adoption
It is permissible, the Bible refers to the practice in both Testaments,
including "we are Sons of God by adoption (through Christ) (paraphrase.
Eph. 1:5)."
Views on Sexuality
Such thoughts go too far when they malign the image of God in someone and do
not respect the person. We should love the person in our respect and in their
body.
How do you believe someone is saved?
By the grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, true God and man, alone.
When did you know you were saved?
Although I was baptized young, I realized the significance of this in High
school, from then I sought out theology in my studies, that I may know God
better and serve Him through teachings others of His love and Truth.
What does romance mean to you? What does Marriage mean to you?
Romance, and marriage, foremost, are not exclusive principles. Romance is the
love blissfully joined with desire that seeks the good of another on whom such
love is placed. Likewise, Marriage is a solemn avowal of commitment for life,
which is the blessed place in which man and woman become one, where they seek
out their own life, family, and estate together.
Do you believe that relationships take effort/work or are you of
the mindset that good things just kind of "fall" into place?
I do believe that things take work, "For every house is built by someone,
but He who built all things is God. (Hebrews 3:4) One chooses one's beloved to
prize, esteem, honour, and adore, above any other, reflected in God's selfless
(agape) love that has sought and chosen me, whilst the love of desire and good
will show love that seeks out another. Likewise, it is God who wills if it
shall fall into place, but for it to fall into place, it takes work and effort,
and it is a constant thing that you need to contribute to spiritually,
physically and emotionally day in and day out.
How long have you been living where you do?
I have lived in Toronto
since September 2002. Before that, I lived in New York State when I
worked for a year, preceded by two years in seminary and before that, four
years in my undergraduate institution.
Who are your role models?
Foremost, my Lord and Saviour, yet there have been those who I have looked up
to, certain professors throughout my education, and especially my parents.
Do you have siblings, and how do you get along with them?
Half brother & half sister, both younger, with whom I get along well.
What qualities of character are important to you?
I would desire in a godly woman for her to be still and blessed in her love
relationship with the Lord, have a desire to serve, gentle, sweet spirited,
caring, fellowship with the body of Christ desires the things of Him, and
strive to seek after His will. She should be a woman I could unconditionally
love and adore, who would love and care for me with all blessedness.
What is something romantic that you would want to share with
someone you love?
Writing her a poem to put in her lunch, singing to her, cooking an exquisite
gourmet meal, cuddling, watching a movie together, getting her flowers, having
a contest to see who is able to hold the other person the longest without
having to go away for any reason, gazing into one another's eyes and seeing who
can do so the longest
What kind of church do you attend?
I attend a Bible believing, missionary supporting Evangelical church in Toronto.
What kinds of friends do you have?
I have a closely-knit group of friends who are very active in their churches
and are growing in their spiritual walks.
What is your family like?
I grew up in New Jersey, where I was blessed
to have a loving family. My
mom still lives in NJ, dad lives in Florida. My
brother and sister both attend university, and
are 21 and 18 respectively. My mother is a retired special education
teacher with the Board of Education of New York City. She demonstrates a
commitment to the rights of the underprivileged by engaging social work as a
volunteer at a center for battered and disenfranchised women. My father,
seeking retirement, owns a book and design corporation and engages in venture
real estate in Florida.
I am blessed to have very supportive and loving parents, who have been there
for me at every stage in life. I love and respect all in my family dearly.
